MY LINUX

There are many flavours of Linux distributions available.

That is without a doubt a good thing as personal interests may differ quite a bit.

Personally I only use three distributions:

Fedora 12	updated to 13 to 14 and now to 15 and 16
Ubuntu 10.10	updated to Ubuntu 11.04 and now to 11.10
Kubuntu 10.10	running in Oracle's Virtual Box and updated to version 11.10
Fedora 15	on an external hard disk attached to personal computer

I just realised that I have omitted a source of important Linux information and that is the Linux Journal you can visit their web site here

Here you will find many answers to problems members have asked before and if you register you may ask a question yourself if you can't find an answer to same. Highly recommended.

If you want to try out Fedora first download the live cdrom here Fedora Live Cdrom. Or Ubuntu 11.04. The full Cdrom can be downloaded here Ubuntu Cdrom.
Run both Operating Systems from the cdrom only. Read the instructions on the menu.
